I’ve got a few series I’m trying to get through and when I’m done with one book, I like to read something different (mainly horror) before starting the next one but I’m running out of ideas. So please give me recs for horror books you’ve enjoyed, that are on the short side. Extreme horror is welcome but not required :)

Looking for book recs where it’s set in a post apocalyptic world but it’s got romance in it? High stakes or low stakes I’m up for any of it. Although I do love tension and apparently enjoy being way too stressed about the characters experiences for someone who loves to read to de-stress but I digress. Open to any and all dynamics, sexualities and/or genders :) I’ll read it as long as they’re in love and disgustingly so 😂 spice is totally fine (as long as it’s not like overwhelmingly silly and written to just fill in gaps of the actual story if that makes any sense).

I don’t know why I’ve been looking for this vibe lately think it might be from spending too much time on AO3 when I should be sleeping 😂
