Wow! I am super impressed by this book! The plot was so fun and kept me interested enough to finish the book in one sitting. I also really enjoyed the writing, it was like I was being told the story through one of my friends. I didn’t love the MMC’s character arc but it wasn’t enough to change how I felt about the book as a whole. Overall this was a great quick romance ❤️‍🔥

This was so fun! A perfect short and sweet novella. Unfortunately there was a lot of miscommunication between the two main characters but I thought the characters were interesting and the plot was fun. I’d be down to read more from this author

Although my enjoyment was high 😉, my overall review of Pot Shot came down to a 3.5.

This book is a great mix of silly and serious with an interesting relationship dynamic I haven’t read before. But in saying that, I could not stop thinking about Julian’s HIPA violations! Maybe it’s because I have had bad experiences but Julian in the beginning was such an arsehole I don’t really think he could have been redeemed. At roughly the 40% mark he develops empathy but at that point I’m already over him.

On the other hand, Nomi is the best ever and I love her so much!! I think she’s such a fun character! She definitely kept me interested in the book, especially when I didn’t like Julian.

Over all I liked that this book was a super fun romance AND had a super unique storyline and perspective that I hope to see more of!
