All in all, this is a solid mystery. The twist was good and the concept kept me fairly well engaged. Similar to fantasy novels, this was one I really had to focus on when listening or risk missing key points and I’m still not entirely sure I got all the details this first time through. But altogether a good spooky season read.

Hi guysss,I'm curious how many books do you read at the same time? One or more? Bc I can't read more than one book at time(unless I don't have to read a book for school too) but I know some people that can read 3 books at the same time!

What's your favourite genre(s) to read and why? I love romance because I like the fact that they are very character-focused and it's centred around how these characters interact. Plus, it compliments other genres very well when done correctly. I love fantasy because I love escaping into fantastical worlds. It's the perfect blend of epic plots with rich character development. When people think of fantasy, they often think of Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones medieval type books but there's so many unique subgenres encompassed in the fantasy genre as a whole. I love Romantasy because when it's done correctly, it's a beautiful pairing of some of my favourite aspects of fantasy and romance.
