I chose this book to complete the Goodreads Reading Challenge. Sometimes, I choose the book that appeals most to me; others, one I think won't make me fall into a reading slump. I'm glad I chose this book. It has the vibes I normally go for in a book (it has the "gothic" feeling), and the writing is easy to read, but not predictable. It leaves you in the blank where it should. I'm looking forward to know what happened with Lenora Hope, and also, Kit's story.

I know things get worse and there isn't a happy ending in this book, but I don't want to know... It pains me to know what becomes of him and that Snow does win, at least in Haymitch's point of view...

Oh god, that epilogue hit home and I ended up crying. Haymitch's story is one I didn't know I needed but that I'm so glad I read.

Poor Haymitch, attracting youngsters in the arena is something Katniss has in common with you...

I'm honestly trying to remember as much as I can from Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Some things related to the Covey confuse me, but I hope things will get clearer as I advance in the book

I'm not gonna lie: This one is pretty absurd. I know the first book doesn't make sense, but I kind of got used to it because of the movie, but this book has become so funny thanks to how unexpected everything is.

The Tim Burton movie is pretty loyal to the book. I liked how funny and easy to read it is.

I watched the movie version by Tim Burton and knew I had to start to read the book. So far, it's pretty similar.

Pretty similar to "What You're Looking for is in the Library".

Third story finished. I didn't like this one. I don't like bullies and this story was honestly hard to swallow.
