Picked this up on a whim and could not put it down! While the plot is a bit lacking, I expect some of it will be fleshed out more in the next book and it did not take away from enjoying the story. Cannot wait to pick up the next book and see what new adventures Trevor and company experience next!

This book is making me feel like I am playing Tiny Bookshop, but with more background into what happens after giving a character a book in response to a request. Makes me want to play again after having taken a break from it. 🎮📚🚙

Kline from Wraithwood Botanist. Love that sassy little guy!
🐈 The time has come...let's see who your favorite fictional cat characters are! 🐈
A few that come to mind for me:
Moggett (Sabriel, Garth Nix; presents as a cat, so that counts). Whiskers (Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion books; winged black and white cat) Pixel (The Cat Who Walks Through Walls, Heinlein) Tailchaser (Tailchaser's Song, Tad Williams) The Cat in the Hat (Seuss, Dr.) Otsuka (Kafka On the Shore, Murakami) Jiji (Kiki's Delivery Service, Eiko Kadono)
Any favorites from the rest of you? 😁
EDIT: So many good ones. Have to run off to meetings but I'll be back to check the thread. Does the cat from the video game Stray count? Did that cat have a name? I loved the game
