Hey everyone!
The other day I saw a post of someone (I unfortunately don't remember their username) that had started a book and had noticed so many details that immediately called to them, many things they loved being mentioned, and it got me thinking... I'd love to know what is the one book that encapsulates who you are as a person. It's a great chance for us to get to know each other!
What is the one book (or series) that captures who you are as a person? It could be personality-wise, mention of many things that you love or are a huge part of your life, etc. Pick one and let us know in the comments!
I'm going to have the best time learning about everyone and maybe even add some new books to my TBR! 🎀

posting this here because this is the latest installment of the HG franchise (so hopefully this is where something like this would be posted 😅) but do we think we’re going to eventually get another hunger games book? i personally do but this is my favorite series genuinely ever and maybe im just delusional. considering the first set of original books was a trilogy i think it would almost be weird to leave us with just Ballads of Songbird and Snakes and Sunrise on the Reaping. i also read somewhere that Suzanne used to write plays and all of her other works have been in a series of three sooooo 👀. who can ever really say though. i will read anything she puts out in the HG franchise.

Making my way through classic gothic literature in chronological order and this was the second book on my list. And it’s a total drag! I’m so tempted to dnf.

Dramatic battles, tense political intrigue, unique world building...and is that maybe some romance I'm sensing? These books are not Romantasy but focus primarily on the SFF elements. Romance is a subplot and may not appear until later in the series, but when it does, you won't be disappointed.

"When I saw your picture I thought you was much bigger. And much blacker, too."
"Really?" I laughed. It was a statement i had heard over and over. Everybody told me they thought i was bigger, blacker, and uglier. When i asked people to describe what they thought i looked like, they would describe someone about six feet tall, two hundred pounds, and very dark and wild-looking.
This immediately reminded me of Belly of the Beast: The Politics of Anti-Fatness and Anti-Blackness by Da'Shaun Harrison. Please read this 🙏🏽
