I am new to reading Cosmic/Lovecraftian stories. I enjoyed the book, but when it comes to these types of books, I think listening to an analysis video will help me understand them better than reading them.

I enjoyed this book, it was fast-paced with a mix of slow. I do wish we got more action between Rune and Gideon like in that mine scene. I wish we got to see more Crimson Moth yk? The relationship between the FMC and MMC is very typical YA, I did not expect the ending at all, RIP to Alex, may you play music in the sky :dove: but I will be reading the 2nd book whenever it comes out!

I LOVE UNHINGED WOMEN RAHHH 🫦 Satara has done nothing wrong 👀🙈 I will say the Lesbian aspect was out of nowhere, I didn't mind it! I had a feeling things weren't going to be so smooth, I love the way Mia Ballard writes, I will be getting a physical copy and tabbing the hell out of it

It was okay, I did like how I understood all of the pop culture references, and in some aspects I related to Viv, it was fast paced, but nothing really stood out to me. The characters were okay, the ending was predictable but I still didn't mind it. It was just okay, to me personally.

I don't want to give a full review just yet, I want to read a little more before I do that
