This book wrecked me. It's kind of crazy to see how similar Katniss and Haymitch really were. I think reading this after TBOSBAS made Haymitch's story that much more powerful. I thought it was cool to see some of the easter eggs from the rest of the series included here. Each new book in this series feels like a piece of the puzzle to what happened in the original trilogy of books! Even after reading this I feel like I have so many questions. I would honestly read a book for every year leading up to the events of the first three books.

It might just be a me thing haha but I've noticed I have a much easier time reading books with shorter chapters. If a chapter is 20+ pages, something in my brain has a hard time focusing even when I'm very invested. For example I read The Priory of the Orange Tree recently, and the book is long, but the chapters felt sooo long. Now I'm reading Heir of Fire and some chapters are 2 or 3 pages and I find it better to read this style of writing for some reason. Was curious how others felt, or if maybe I'm just the odd one 😂

Asking because I kinda love post apocalyptic worlds, and I feel like I wouldn’t be the first to go! But let's keep the zombies far away lol

I've been wanting to join a book club for some time but am not entirely sure how to find the right one for me. So my question is if you're in a book club how did you find it? Is it online or in person or both?

Feel like im in a little book rut at the moment and cant seem to find an audio book I like. I'm looking for romantasy and bonus points if i has a group of silly friends/found family that are super fun and engaging to read about. I loved ACOTAR, From Blood and Ash and just finished the Empyrean series too. Give me banter, romance and fantasy recs please!!!

If you're a completionist, read in this order. Otherwise you can start with The Liveship Traders Trilogy or The Rain Wild Chronicles, but make sure you save Fitz and the Fool for last.
