I'm so glad this was part of the readalong. It wasn't the easiest read, but it was fascinating. Brontë's writing style is so unique and the story flowed in a most interesting way. The characters were so complex; I feel like I could write an essay analyzing every single one. The story was not what I expected at all, but it was really interesting.
I had 2 moods while reading this book:
This book is very serious but also very unserious at the same time, which is a hard combo to achieve, but Brontë does it perfectly actually.
