greetings, everyone.
how did you find the pacing of the book? was it slow? was it fast? did certain passages bore you? most importantly, did you enjoy it?

Curious Inquiry: Have you noticed if your likelihood to DNF a book changes depending on the format of the book?
Personal Explanation: I got a marketing email from Chirp showing audiobooks they have on sale right now, and one was for an author who I read in 2025, and while I did not enjoy the book, I remember me reasoning at the time for continuing until it was finished was that I was consuming the audiobook version, so it was faster and less time consuming. That made me realize if the book had been a physical book or an ebook, I would've DNF'd it, which also made me remember in the past there have been ebooks you couldn't pay me to continue that I then devoured in a day in physical format, which I often just explained away as due to my ADHD struggling with being unable to see the physical end of a book.
So I wonder if anyone else has noticed something similar in my own reading habits???
