In honour of Everybody Scream dropping tomorrow, here are books that are utterly delicious, magical, and sometimes a little bit dark. (Lots of folklore, some horror, and of course feminine rage)

mc goes to a private school, tries and fails to hide a deep dark secret, and falls in love with someone they shouldn't have. "wait till my father hears about this" ahh kids

fiction books that have a main character or prominent side character that fit the D&D Druid class (at least partly). here for the wildshape, speak with animals, and loving nature vibes! open to recs and input!

Books in this list are in at least two quests. Thus helping to earn more badges. Books will span different genres. Once I scan through all the quests, I plan to further organize the list. I am thinking of creating a seperate list and moving the books with three or more quests to the new list and keeping the two badge books in this list. Are there other ways you would organize a list this big?

If we are going to do Qwordy's the Hardest Reading Challenge You'll Ever Do 3.0 - we should probably get some Pagebound badges along the way! I'm specifically going to be adding books from Quests and readalongs that I think matches at least one of these cover prompts: craft, food, motion, biomes/landscapes, animals, weather.

Fantasy with fortunes read, omens feared, and futures grasped.

Want to get into fantasy but never read/only read a bit and don't want to read anything too complex? These books and series have light worldbuilding, magic systems, and are overall good introductions to those new to fantasy. The majority of these are more YA due to the nature of entry-level fantasy

books with bisexual characters (even if they end up with the opposite sex THEY'RE STILL BI)

From crimes and heists to quests and tests… Here are some mysterious fantasy books that don’t revolve around murder! The “mystery” may be central to the plot, or may be a sprinkle of intrigue on the side. Have fun and get solving!!

Ravens/ crows on covers or in titles 🕷️ 🕸️ 🦇 These books are ones I think I will like, I have high hopes and expect top notch atmosphere! (All tbr books are on the list on probation, so the list might change after I've read and evaluated the raveness; if crow essence is to be found)

books centering on characters obsessed with a certain thing, ambition, or goal! one of my favorite types of characters… you could say I’m obsessed with them
