curated raven list
Ravens/ crows on covers or in titles đˇď¸ đ¸ď¸ đŚ These books are ones I think I will like, I have high hopes and expect top notch atmosphere! (All tbr books are on the list on probation, so the list might change after I've read and evaluated the raveness; if crow essence is to be found)

I love this list!! I noticed a trend in black birds appearing in many of my recent obsessions, so this feels extremely catered to me đ¤ Thank you for curating!
I have some suggestions:
Maybe this is too specific , but volume 16, 19, 30 and 36 of Haikyu!! have crows on the cover đŚââŹđ
The Raven King by Nora Sakavic has a raven both in the title and on the cover, and The Golden Raven has one in the title
was coming here to suggest aftg trk and you beat me to it!
when there is a chance to talk about aftg, I have to take it đ¤

Haikyu!! my teenage obsession 𫶠I wanted this list to be only text-books so đ it will stay as a comment recommend And the All for the Game series --> I'm scared but intrigued
omg you've gotta read Hollow Kingdom by Kira Jane Buxton!! it's a satirical zombie novel told from the perspective of a crow
FckaiOP
Thank you for this recommendation I'm intrigued !!
đ Ooooh, Hollow Kingdom has another fan I see. (I've seen @kathytrihardt hyping it up before lol đ¤Ł)
i mean, how can you not hype up a book told from the perspective of a crow named Shit Turd?
Pahahaha đ¤Ł
My husband bought a bunch of apocalypse books for a personal reading challenge (unfortunately for him, he had decided on that theme for 2020, and regretted it by March!) and this was one of them. I heard him laughing in the tub one evening, and when he got out he read the first few pages and I was IMMEDIATELY hooked! The whole eyeball debacle, Shit Turd's name, and poor hungry Dennis had me LOSING IT!
The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe?

Wow, how has this slipped my mind, I even liked that one
I had to double and triple check I wasnât just missing it somehow :) đŚââŹđŚââŹđŚââŹ
Illuminations by T. Kingfisher

Crow as a major character?! Maybe this will be the kingfisher hit for me
It's Middle grade, but I still loved it.
wb the hunger games by suzanne collins?? i think some editions have a black mockingjay on the cover
Nevernight by Jay Kristoff, Weyward by Emilia Hart
oh and The Ninth Rain by Jen Williams!
I would like to recommend The Birchbark House by Louise Erdrich. It's kinda like the Little House on the Prairie books, but Indigenous.
FckaiOP
This is like personal clickbait to me: birches, black birds, author I've been curious about - ADDED
If you like all those things, THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU!!!
Eta: Erdrich has become one of my autobuy authors. I LOVE her stories!
