Listening Is Reading
When the narrator(s) makes the book even better. For new listeners and audiobook elites, here is a range of different genres and narrators that excel at audio perfection.
a (ongoing) sapphic masterlist! (600+ books!)
every struggled to find actual lesbian/sapphic books when at the library or bookstore? so did I!
bc of said struggle, I started to curate a personal list of books that either has lesbian MCs and/or featured a primary sapphic romance.
i haven't read all of these, but I do try my diligence in confirming that they meet the above perimeters, since many books claim to be sapphic when they're not. this is an ever updating list, only fiction for now!
Quest Thirst ๐ฆ (100+ Books under multiple quests)
Books that are part of 3 or more quests โจfor easier planning! Initially thought of making this on my shelf, hope the members of pb find this helpful!! (The list is incomplete, I'm working on checking & adding new quest books๐๐ป thanks for the love โค๏ธ๐ฅน)
Bang for Your Buck
Books that appear on 5 or more quests. It's a 5-for-1 deal! Just for you!
This is an ongoing list as I'm adding manually as I come across them, so feel free to comment additions!
Finally some good fucking worldbuilding
SFF with worldbuilding that informs the plot, prose, characters, and underlying narrative in deeply meaningful, intentional, and complex ways, so much so that changing the world means changing the shape of the story itself. Or: worldbuilding that goes beyond simple set dressing and becomes a vehicle for the story and narrative. Always open to recs and suggestions! โค๏ธ
Literary Lasagna - Give Them Time to Cook
These are books that don't rush to impress you. They simmer while the author adds in the layers. They may confuse you or bore you at first - but if you give them time to cook you'll end up with a delicious meal of a book!
Always taking recommendations! If you are recommending a series - the layers need to come together by the end of the first book (not half way through the series).
Sword Lesbians
Lady knights but center around les.bi.an rep ๐ฉท๐ค๐งก
an ongoing sapphic masterlist of books (1600+)
in progress
Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.
I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.
Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.
For my favs / read, check out my other lists & shelves.
Open to suggestions for more titles.
Don't shoot the messenger.
Oath of Pride

"oh you were on tumblr, weren't you?"

Gay people can never flirt normally
Books with obsessive and/or codependent queer relationships (relationship doesn't have to be canon but the vibesโข should be there)
SFF Comedy & Clownery
Suggestions always welcome! SFF books written to be humorous, satiric, or otherwise meant to entertain and make readers laugh. (This was a quest idea i was thinking about, but I'm not committed enough to this to make it)

unbury your gays
as an antidote to the โbury your gaysโ trope, here are queers who defy death; who are reincarnated, immortalised, or escape death by the skin of their teeth. these characters may die at some point following this, but are allowed well-rounded arcs before that point.
please note that due to the nature of the list, spoilers may follow. enter at your own risk.

Appreciation for the tall ladies ๐ซก
As a tall-ish girl myself, every time I come across an FMC who is described as tiny, I yearn a bit more for some tall FMC representation โ we can be love interests too! ๐ฅน๐ So I made this list of (mostly romance and fantasy) books with a tall FMC. Whether she is taller than her partner, or they are somehow EVEN TALLER than her, all is welcome here ๐ซถ
I havenโt read every single book on this list, so please correct me if I am wrong somewhere. More book recs super appreciated!!! ๐ค
