as an antidote to the ‘bury your gays’ trope, here are queers who defy death; who are reincarnated, immortalised, or escape death by the skin of their teeth. these characters may die at some point following this, but are allowed well-rounded arcs before that point.

oh i love this list!! if you're open to including danmei, both mdzs (grandmaster of demonic cultivation) and tgcf (heaven official's blessing) would fit in this! (actually most fantasy danmei would fit in this, now that i'm thinking about it)

np!! chinese fantasy is full of ppl getting reincarnated/immortalised bc of the nature of the genres lol, so there are way more than just these two. some others i can think of are guardian and drowning sorrows in raging fire by priest (both linked)
(also btw i think the edition of tgcf that most ppl will be familiar with is this one!)
