Re-read #4 (2/28/14): I'm returned to this story time and time again, and I still adore it. Cordelia and Aral are a meeting of equals. Capable, honorable, and oh so lovely together. I used to gloss over the epilogue in my younger days, but now I've loved enough people in this universe to feel each small loss. Beautiful.
Re-read #5 (8/9/15): This is the first time I've read the epilogue since becoming a mother myself, just haunting.
(12/23/20) In the era of lavish TV adaptations, I find myself imagining this story on screen. What a glorious epic!
DNFed at 22% (p60). I'm bored, but also this is very clearly a product of it's time when it comes to gendered and sexual violence, which I'm just not keen to read.
