Works in the speculative, fantasy, science fiction, and horror genres by authors who are not cisgender! Two spirit, nonbinary, trans, genderfluid, and other gender diverse authors count!

Speculative (sci-fi, fantasy, horror etc.) novellas less than 200 pages long that are either standalone or read like a standalone story

Fiction and non-fiction in which a main character, prominent supporting character, or narrator is canonically/confirmed to be on the asexual (ace) spectrum.

Novels, novellas, and short stories (and the occasional comic) featuring trans characters (including non-binary and all terms under the umbrella), written by indie authors. All genres, but many lean erotic and/or horror 🔞

Fairy tale and folklore-inspired narratives as well as atmospheric/quiet/light fantasy with canon aspec characters, aspec-readable themes such as rejection of relationship hierarchy and meaningful companionships, or simply excluding elements of either sexuality or romance. Limiting these to books aimed at adults but will include kidlit that may resonate with older audiences too, such as classics or kidlit with older protagonists.

These Books changed my brain chemistry and I want more people to read them.
