Books That are Love Letters to Books
Books don't just sit on shelves and these novels show it. Each one is its own love letter to the importance of stories in every corner of human life, built on the belief that the right book, in the right hands, at the right moment, can change the entire shape of a life. (Always taking recommendations!)
Books with β¨Arabβ¨ flavour
Fiction books by Arab authors and/or books starring Arab characters (and as always, Free Palestine)
Profit > People
Fictional stories. Real consequences. Profit > People is dedicated to books with capitalist critique, focusing on the lives - and bodies - sacrificed at the altar of industry and interest. Always taking recommendations!
Bleakness Is My Weakness
For when you need to wallow in melancholy and misery: a collection of pessimistic, cynical, downbeat, depressing, doom and gloom fiction for my disillusioned friends.
More to come!

Subversive 'Classic' Retellings
I have no idea what I am doing here exactly. Just prioritising deconstructions/confrontations of the white, Western 'classic' canon for now, however the goalposts/parameters might change!
Not intending this to be exhaustive - there are many lists on Austen, Dickens, The Great Gatsby retellings etc already! Just a few remixes for a range of classics.
