All the books (and some of) the poems I've read and taught as a highschool English teacher

These are books that will help you expand your worldview and understand what people go through. Some books are fictional, diving into the questions of power, relationships, privilege, and struggle. Others are true stories, bearing witness to real events and experiences that happen world-wide. All of these books exemplify the importance of storytelling as a means to understanding each other and our world!

Books that have been read with the bookclub from the kpop idol lily morrow (nmixx)

Self explanatory I fear! The classics that are taught (I haven’t read them all) with a few of my own additions too (my PGDE qualification warrants as much). Suggestions of your own welcome!

graphic novels and illustrated books with art as beautiful as their stories

Books I cannot recommend enough. Books I cannot shut up about! These are some of my favorite reads and I can't wait to reread them!

Not every shadow that falls across your path is a threat. Some giants did not come to crush our walls, but to keep the wind off them. These are the lonely ones—the ones who carry our dreams in jars, or wait in the rain for a kindness we often forget to give. They are the guardians made of iron, the ancient sleepers under the hills, and the soft-spoken monsters who know that being big often means being very, very alone. We call them... the Gentle Hearts.
