Time Stops in the Grocery Store

by sunblessedbabe

30 books

Every time I walk into the grocery store, time has not changed, the meat and fruits and vegetables are always available. I don’t feel the passing of time; and I realize I’ve lost connection to the seasons.

Lately I’ve been reading a lot of books mentioning, “Ah this is the taste of the season Ive been looking forward to.” I realized how I’ve inadvertently lost track of time and nostalgia with food. So here is a list of mostly cookbooks focused on cooking local and in season.

Recs welcome! 💞
