Books set in/around Scotland. Highlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, outer islands, etc.

Novels with intriguing titles (that I read or that sound interesting) in English (either originally or translated); a mix of genres. Mostly 4+ words in the title, with some select 3-word-titles but no shorter ones. No parts of series except for the first book.

This list is about fictional families which break your heart, make your heart and reveal parts of you, you never knew existed. Its about love and dysfunction and how they often come packaged together.

A vibes-based list themed after Legend of Zelda.

Inspo: perhaps the most iconic start to a Zelda game, the Deku Tree himself, and the plot surrounding him. Themes: naivety, whimsy, hope, the passage of time, grand beginnings, family secrets.
