Demisexuality may not be explicitly disclosed or outright discussed in these books; I did my best to find stories with a main lead that presents as demi. Recs are encouraged!!

If you ask someone what apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic fiction they've read, there's a fair chance much of that list will have been written by cis men, because they're the books that get the most promotion in the genre.
