This was a great book full of action. I will be happily reading the next book hopefully over Spring Break. I love the compassion that is shown at the very end. Also I love all the elements. Paige is handicapped, Penryn's mom is schizophrenic. I love that in an apocalyptic spin on this book with evil angels and characters that struggle with issues because no other book that I have read shows how the handicapped and insane deal with the end of time.
Yo wtf, I thought this book would be fine, some nice entertainment, but it was so good?? Like of course there are some flaws which is why its more of a 4 star, but damn I was racing through it. The plot is really compelling and the pacing is strong.
It did start out pretty slow, I actually read the first chapter maybe a month ago and didn't keep going, but I'm so glad I decided to pick it up again. Because the plot really kicks into high gear soon after and doesn't let go. I have to know what happens next.
