This is the first time (in a while at least but I think first time ever) I’ve cried after finishing a book. This is an incredible sorry about family and purpose, and I loved every word of it. The book is laser focused on its characters, even more so than ALJtaSAP, which is great as Chamber’s strong suit is her characters. Sidra, Owl, Pepper/Jane and Tak are all so relatable and human despite being AIs, Aliens and lab-created clones. I adored this book, maybe more so than the first, and I physically cannot wait for Chamber’s next book.
