I would suggest Jade City by Fonda Lee, The Floating World by Axie Oh, The Art of Prophecy by Wesley Chu, A Song to Drown Rivers by Ann Liang, and The Night Ends with Fire by K.X. Song as well! Are you looking for only East Asian fantasy inspired books?

I got you! I was trying to compile more on my list. I had to open up my extensive TBR list to find them all! All of Asia would be awesome, I'm Korean, so I find myself gravitating towards East Asia, but I love to expand! Open to suggestions!

I have a few that I've read that would fit! - The Darkness Becomes Her (Judy I. Lin) - Iron Widow (Xiran Jay Zhao) - Song of Silver, Flame Like Night (Amélie Wen Zhao)
