yes! gotta love a good old HGTV marathon!
I loved fixer upper but always got the sense there wasn’t something quite right with chip and joanna they were just too happy
in the nicest possible way, Chip Gaines - who i expect is potentially very skilled at contracting, very much gives off stupid enough to be a danger-to-himself-&-others energy, he survives bc Jo wears the pants in the relationship and makes all the decisions. she is wife, mother, daughter, design queen and Chip-wrangler.
joanna literally did it all and somehow was always happy about it while chip was happiest during demo day
the man is always like eating bugs and breaking things and venturing into questionable water. there isn’t a leash short enough to rein him in.
and teaching his sons to do the same 🙄
