Examining ourselves through our complicated relationship with worms
Worms are weird and they trigger complex feelings in humans. They live extremely different lives from ours; most of the time we're not even aware of their presence, yet we remain dependent on them. We use worms as metaphors for existential concepts like sex and death, receptacles for repressed emotions and bodily anxieties we don't know how to deal with.

I love worms 🫶

Oh wait I didn't read the whole description. I love all literal and metaphorical worms 🫶

This is such a talented worm, thanks for calling this to my attention!!
You're welcome 🙂↕️ I may or may not have a secret worm agenda. Silly story: As a kid, I used to take worms out of my backyard garden and put them on my swing set so they got a break from work. My grade 2 teacher also said animals can hear us hum and will only respond to humming, so I used to push these worms on the swing while humming to them.
I love humans. I used to have snails as pets. There was Dora and Slimey. They were married. I don't know if they knew that tho

THAT IS SO CUTE THAT IT'S KILLED ME, I'M DEAD NOW (AKA WORM FOOD) Plus I feel like you might have accidentally started some kind of worm religion?? All I'm saying is, if some random giants did anything like this to us, we'd definitely think they were gods
I dont like most crawlies, but that is just the cutest thing I've ever heard of 😭
