Third Culture Kids (TCK) 🌎

TCKs are those who were "raised in a different culture than their parents, for a large part or the entirety of their childhood and adolescence. They typically are exposed to a greater volume and variety of cultural influences than those who grow up in one particular cultural setting."

These books must delve into the themes and conflicts of being a TCK and not just have a TCK. (this is different from an immigrant story, it's the generation that follows)

Yes! Put up some memoirs just now but I'm happy to take recs! The books I know are pretty biased towards Asian diaspora cause that's what I relate to. So I also need to diversify. Doing some research rn.

I am so glad this list exists! TKC is a perfect descriptor for the experience of children of immigrants, 2nd gen kids and 1.5 gen kids. Keen to get stuck into some of these books
