Mostly fiction inspired by Sumerian, Akkadian, Egyptian, Canaanite (and Roman Levant), Hittite, etc…

I see a lot of Greek myth retellings or books inspired by them, but not that much from SWANA.

The period spans from 8th millennium BCE to 7th century BCE. This is very much unique to Sumerian culture. But there aren’t a lot of Sumerian inspired works out there. And since, we’re bound by the constraints of what’s available, I’ve been lax with the criteria.
