I have a recent release to recommend to you. Mhairi McFarlaneās, Cover Story, a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance. Personally loved it, even though I like the spicy stuff, too. š
Itās all about expectations. If you (not you personally), think the spice is coming and it doesnāt, you might either DNF or trash the book in a review. A shame, since itās more about reader-book mismatch than the book being bad. Better to have not picked up the book at all.
