Very excited to announce that you can now download the app on Android!! Google Play approved us this afternoon :) we're still waiting on Apple and will make a big release announcement once both platforms are available.
If you're on Android, we'd love if you give us a download and leave a review. In typical non conformist PB fashion I do find it hilarious that we are available on Android before Apple; a karmic win for all our Android baddies.
Can't wait to see what everyone thinks of the app!!

I just brought this up to a fellow book reader and she hadnāt thought about it before so I thought Iād make a discussion post about it to get everyoneās thoughts!
Iām reading a book right now that is giving me the vibes that AI was used during the writing process, I could be wrong (I see a lot of AI usage at my job to assist writing so thatās why I tend to notice) and I really struggle with authors using AI.
I feel that this turns their writing into not their own and the way that it makes the writing feel more robotic. Has anyone else noticed this? iāve seen a lot of talk of authors using AI for their covers, but I havenāt seen a lot of talk about AI assistance with writing.

Since September is coming to an end (already?? oof), I wanted to check in with everyone and ask what your reading month has been like? Did you read more than usual or less? Have you started with the Fall readalong?
I read two books less than last month but still my ānormal amountā you could say and even managed to read 3 out of the 5 fall readalong books!! and since I read Donāt Let the Forest In last year, I only have one left to go!
template for anyone whoād like to share some september stats:
books in total: favourite: least favourite: most surprising: longest vs shortest: october read to look forward to:
Iāll share my own stats in the comments as well š

I watched the first two Hunger Games movies in the cinema and couldnāt wait for the final film, so I decided to read the third book in the trilogy. There were quite a few differences between the book and the movie, which made me curious enough to go back and read the first two books as well. And Iām glad I did! I like the film adaptations, but I love the books.

Really cute book, I enjoyed the dynamics between Brendan and Piper but also loved the sister relationship.

I didn't expect to get so emotional but them connecting over a book and Augustus taking the time to read the book and be as invested as Hazel is just warmed my heart.
There's nothing like sharing the joy of reading and books with others ā¤ļø

I love this world and there were moments again that made me giggle and laugh out loud. Also, usually I really enjoy multiple POVs but this time I don't think it's very well done. It switches way too often. It misses showing us what a character thinks based on their action and description. And the first time the POV was switched at a critical moment it was like gasp omg how could you, which is good but at this point I'm kinda rolling my eyes because those moments now just feel unfinished and the POV used to not have to write out the very tense moments. I do still love the characters and the actual scenes themselves so I'll finish this but the switches at this point are getting frustrating.

What cozy mystery series would you recommend? It's my favorite subgenre and while I love culinary and bookish series but am wondering if there are any good crafting or pet themed ones I should check out?

I've recently started getting arcs in giveaways and I've been wondering, how different are ARCs compared to the final version of the book usually?
Is it worth the reread or no?

What are your thoughts on gifting books to non-readers as birthday or holiday gifts? Do you find it pointless or are you optimistic that they will read it and love it as much as you do, maybe even get into reading as a result? If you have a story about a time that they either did or didnāt read it, Iād love to her about it.

Hii everyone. Ive got a little idea. How about we write our favorite series / movies to watch and others will recommend us a book based on our choice? Im really looking foward to reading some of those recommendations!!
