I'm probably chaotic good with occasional neutral evil tendencies. I cannot give you any semblance of a pattern to my reading choices, it's just wherever the vibes take me. The PDA of my neurodivergent brain can lean neutral evil in response to popular recs, but I'm trying to resist this tendency because I really don't want to be projecting the "not like other girls" energy that this can sometimes put forth (in my case, certainly not for every person identifying with this category).

I am a mood reader through and through and I teeter between fanfiction and books without any regularity. But in the last probably 6 months I have been completely anti-book. Not that there's any issues with the books I pick to read, but I really struggle to keep my attention on them and it's driving me bonkers. Granted, I have been really busy between coaching volleyball, teaching, and now moving but I haven't been able to stick to a book to save my life. I will start books that I've been interested in and struggle to make it more than a couple of chapters and just lose complete interest. What are your tips and tricks to overcoming a reading slump? Any and all help is appreciated!

What are some of your favorite microtropes? I would love to hear them! I’m talking those things in books that happen that you just absolutely gobble up, that make you squeal with delight every single time.

Here are some of mine:

• there’s only one horse and our couple is forced to share (I actually made a list called Saddle Up for a Ride There’s Only One Horse for this and would love more recs)
• MMC puts an arm on the wall behind FMC and leans in
• the inn only has one bed (this one is becoming more popular and I love to see it!!)
• MMC leans against the doorframe and crosses his arms
• MC shows up at the enemies doorstep and doesn’t have anywhere else to go (send me all the recs for this!! I need more)
