im really loving your lists and see a lot of them focus on the “weird girl” genre, which i love and embrace, but you’ve read much farther and wider than i have so would love to hear what defines weird girl lit for you!
honestly i wouldn't know how to answer, hahah. mostly literary but some other genres like horror. mostly women writing about women but not strictly and i don't have any interest in policing author gender. usually some transgressive elements, but some books are lighter or more commercial.
it's honestly kinda just a vibe a lot of time, a mixture of things i've read and loved, things people i share taste with have read and loved, and things i've seen that interest me. i'm sorry if that's not very helpful. :3
