Not sure if it’s specifically parasitic, but Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield definitely has a horror element of a something taking over the body…

Wilder Girls by Rory Power would fit this! And technically Animorphs but they're not labeled as horror lol

I haven't read it in a while, but maybe The Host by Stephanie Meyer? Might not be horror though.
Ok I've checked, apparently it's science fiction romance (didn't particularly catch the romance part when I read it but okay)
