My wife (@zielstarfallen) is a vet tech and may or may not be starting a project to read all the fiction books they can find about veterinarians and vet techs in order to find the most accurate representations of their profession.
I, being the helpful, list-obsessed audhd partner that i am, am avoiding my own tbr by deep-diving for recommendations for them đ„°đ„°
Recommendations welcome!

Such a fun idea! Would If Only They Could Talk by James Herriot fit this list? I have read the first three in the series and really liked them! Itâs about a vet in the 1930âs, a lot based on the authorâs life âșïž
Wife loves James Herriot!! But for the purposes of this list they're staying away from memoir-style books by real vets and focusing on fiction representatations by non-vet med experts (with the exception of fantasy books by vets & vet techs because they're interested in how the author would apply their knowledge to mythical creatures)
Sounds like a good focus! âșïž
how cute ! my sister is starting school for vet science soon and nonfiction might to be too much for her right now so this is perfect timing to pass along to her. thank you for sharing. đ«¶đŒ
