Thanks for the rec! That seems like gothic/academia- is there a a magic/fantasy component as well?
I mean there’s like immortality elixirs and shit so I took it as one yes. To me it wasn’t actually gothic it was like a historical medical sci-fi romance if that makes sense!

Jackaby is like Sherlock and Newt from fantastic Beasts had a baby. I would say it has a great deal of whimsy, and I highly recommend giving it a try if you get the chance.
London Steampunk does have a shifter component, so maybe not as whimsical? Big Steampunk vibe though, and found family, so it is a little bit.
