hey, i think floppy might be misplaced here, the author has cEDS, not hEDS, and i think the distinction between hEDS and the more severe and rare EDS types is important to acknowledge

Though I've spent quite a while researching books for this list, I haven't yet had the chance to read all of them. I'm actually debating deleting the list because my original intention was to read all of the books fairly quickly to make sure they belong, as well as be able to add books along the way. Sadly I haven't yet had the time or energy to do so and now it feels kind of weird to have it out there as a recommendation..đ
I wanted to include books of a variety of genres but I've spent the last few days researching and I cannot for the life of me find more fiction books with hypermobile characters! So if anyone has any recs (fiction or non-fiction!) I'd love to add them :)

Yes! I was still debating about adding that one... đŹ I actually really liked the representation in it & saw myself in Violet in a couple of ways. Just haven't yet looked into the controversy around Rebecca Yarros as an author and I didn't want to knowingly platform someone with harmful views. At the same time I've not vetted every author on this list nor have I read all these books, and the lack of representation did make me sad, so I'm a little conflicted!
This is a really fair point! Totally understand not wanting to platform RY. Also understand adding it so there are options for the rep, and allowing folks to make an informed decision on reading or not for themselves.
