Okkkk, I’m 15% in and so far I’m seeing the unreliable narrators. I’m like, what is going on and where tf is Amy? Already not keen on Nick, I have to say. But loving the drama and i like reading Amy’s bit bc its like im reading her diary

Okkkkkkkk, I’ve just finished Gone Girl and can I just say….. wowwwww, was that a ride! Such a wild and fascinating story. Also, loved the writing so much, it went back and forth from relatable to in depth descriptions. You are an amazing for this recommendation!!! The internal dialogues of a man made me want to HURL. I was desperate to get out of Nick's mind lol and Amy was batshit crazy but I loved her

It really is, and I love the inner monologue; it genuinely feels like I’m mind reading. No, frrrrr though, that’s so valid because how is this man married but knows absolutely nothing about Amy???? Whatttt. He genuinely seems more terrified that the police might accuse him than where she is. Also, I cannot get over the ‘Killer smile’ bit. What on earthhhhh!!! You really wouldn’t think he’s concerned at all. Also the treasure hunts are so corny to me, maybe bc its between a couple idk lol😂
May I recommend the Secret History for this list?
You Let me in by Camilla Bruce would fit this list. It's a very dark story about a girl who comes in contact with faeries (the cryptid kind not the sexy ones) and whose reality is very different from everybody else's and you never know what's actually happening.
Anything Alice Feeney has written would fit the bill!

I’d start with Sometimes I Lie and His & Hers, Good Bad Girl - but she’s an auto-buy author for me. Her pacing is stellar I run through them quick!
