the texture of sun-warm sheets, time alone with a book, the lattice of light through the trees in the early evening, the comfort of an ordinary routine, a fleeting exchange, an everyday kindness.
these works of fiction observe, preserve and venerate the beautiful mundane, the small things of life.
recs very much welcome :)

Love love love this list idea!! Pumped to read through this selection. š
Might I recommend Jayber Crow or Hannah Coulter by Wendell Berry? Either would fit into this list, I think.

thank you!! these look wonderful - iāve added Jayber Crow and hope i can get around to reading it soon :)
That list description is screaming Mossy (moss-mylk) š„¹ I think that The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating would fit!
OH OH and Raising Hare by Chloe Dalton

i think iām going to try to keep this list to fiction, but that sounds beautiful and iāll be stealing it for myself šāāļø
No worries, I totally missed the āworks of fictionā bit š

ahh these look so good though! i may expand this to memoirsā¦
I support whatever you decide! š¤
