I saw a book with game modding called Mod the Mall by Anneliese Amore in a stuff your kindle event. Don't know if it's any good but this list made me think that I saw that.

Oo have you read The Love Con? I found both in my research of looking for books to add to the list and was so excited to see both books! This started with Next Level Love by Shameez Patel and I am now determined to read all the books here

I enjoyed it. It was cute and the aspect of a cosplay competition is good. Teased me into thinking there was spice because the flirting lead me to believe that. But still really cute. ☺️

Oo Role Playing was a great one! Did you resonate with anything specific? I have read 7 of these in the list so can recommend some from those but if you're not, I'd start with Playing Flirty by Shameez Patel!
Okay, I’ve added that. I’m very character driven, so likable characters I want to cheer for is my #1.
I’m thinking back now, it’s been a while, but I think I related most to the FMC. A little older, a little snarky, definitely nerdy. :)
Oo that is good to know! From the ones I'd read, I'd say that Playing Flirty has that grumpy x sunshine (the grumpy was from the MMC) and Tusk Love (a cozy fantasy) also does too! And while I haven't read these, I have heard that both Good Gamer, Gamer Girl by Reina Zoric and Single Player by Tara Tai have grumpy x sunshine or Golden Retriever x Black Cat so I imagine it would have the snarky in it. I love the older, a little snarky and nerdy character that was in Role Playing too ahh!
