Love the idea of this list but wish it was longer!

I'm looking through my nonfiction reads trying to find recs but couldn't find much šŸ˜” you could add Robin Wall Kimmerer's Gathering Moss if you don't mind multiple books from one author (and personally I like Braiding Sweetgrass more). I read it a few years ago but I wrote this book was hopeful in my review: The Possibility of Life: Science, Imagination, and Our Quest for Kinship in the Cosmos by Jaime Green.

ty!! i’ll make sure to add bothšŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļømain reason the list is short is because i just want to make sure books i add really fit the vibes i’m going for. there were more recommendations given in the comments of a club post i made last month, but those i haven’t read yet (exception being You Better Be Lightning) and haven’t gotten to look into them further to make sure they fit this list

Oh for sure! There are a lot of books that are semi-hopeful but not completely so I totally understand you reading them before adding :) I was going to recommend An Immense World by Ed Yong because I feel like it's overall hopeful, but the last chapter goes over human impacts on wildlife that is decidedly NOT šŸ˜…
