Hey!! I'm totally going off of bookkeepers recommendations when I was visiting France, random books from authors that I've read in other languages and I know are approachable and the books that were in the curriculum of my high school classmates who were studying French eheh! I hope this list will be helpful for you as well!! 🌷
May I suggest the comic : Les Legendaires - it’s a cute comic about fantasy hero’s who get shrunk into their younger selves and go on adventures in small kid form - it’s made for kids so the language is simpler and the visual format helps with comprehension too
