Looks like a lot of these are regency/georgian! You’ve unknowingly semi-curated an actual time period not just the vibes 🥰🥰 /pos also what to you is victorian vibes would love to know! /pos

Oh really? I actually just had to look up the difference between Regency and Victorian 😅 I thought it was the same period (Spanish reader here, mind my ignorance haha). Should the title be Regency instead of Victorian then? I was just looking for the vibes I get with Jane Austen and when I read Mrs England it gave me the same feeling so I thought I would try to find more 🥰 Feel free to make any suggestions, I'll be happy to add them to the list!

It’s completely up to you, it’s your list! Jane Austen is regency, if that helps you. I suppose it’s difficult bc periods have so many different kinds of vibes, and vibes within the periods too (like victorian is really long and so much happened and changed in that period). And then georgian era encompasses the regency era. Ig it depends do you want to be strict to the period or do u like something about these books that isn’t one-period-specific? But like i said it’s your list and you can be as niche or as broad as you want! 🧡🧡

Victorian is after regency- following a change in the fashion, culture etc and adding in some elements of engineering/early scientific progress - but some books will cross over into that time as historians create more boundaries and help us understand culture and values within that era- Edwardian is after that and includes more influence of the industrialization and increased boom in cross culture (due access to means of travel)

Hmm I think it's probably the gentleman, witty women and family stories I am thinking of, so I guess it's not that very strict 😊 I really appreciate the information though, it's making me want to learn more about these periods 🥰
