I love this a lot! I think I once found a book like this about my city, but it was a self-published indie at a local bookstore and I can’t remember the author or title. It disappeared into that same upside-down for me. đŸ«„

If it ever resurfaces for you, tell me! Strange disappearing books are exactly the kind of energy this list is looking for! You just have to find the right spot to slide sideways between two staircases into the underside of a statue, I’m sure that’s where it’s hiding.

I found it! It’s called Caverns Below Milwaukee by Andy Tyra. (My daughter climbed into an eagle’s nest in the rafters of the library and demanded three favors. The first was a talking mouse (Nurallam), the second was a golden necklace, and the third was this book. đŸ™ŒđŸœ)
