Authors narrating their own audiobooks

Mostly memoirs, mostly celebrities. Books where listening to the author read it can add so much to the stories because they can convey the exact tone that they intended.

Great list! Here are some that I listened to as self-narrated audiobooks. I'm not sure how strict you want to be on "known"/celebrity authors. I read these because I knew who they were before I read them..

On the Hippie Trail by Rick Steves (huge in the travel community)

Jinger Duggar Vuolo narrated Becoming Free Indeed and People Pleaser (from the reality TV show 19 Kids and Counting & the spinoffs)

Priceless by Robert Wittman (founder of the FBI art crime division, narrating his cases - more true crime but also his own memoir)

Dark Square's by Danny Rensch ((one of) the founders/primary face of chess.com talking about growing up in a cult and chess scandals)

Sister Wife by Christine Brown Woolley (the third wife from the reality TV series Sister Wives about a polygamous family)

I forgot about Have I told you This Already? by Lauren Graham from the Gilmore Girls.

I believe she narrates all of her books, but I've only read others digitally

Thank you for the suggestions! I think I'll stick to one book per author but I'll definitely have to listen to Lauren Graham's books soon!

Fabulous list, I love it when authors narrate their own books! I would highly recommend How to Survive a Bear Attack by Claire Cameron as an addition!

Thanks for the suggestion! I've added it now
