Two Josh Malermans 👀 I've heard from multiple people that The Silent Companions is one of the scariest horror books they've ever read so it makes sense to see it on this list haha. I'm still too scared to read it 😂

He's one of my favourite horror authors 🫶 For me The Silent Companions wasn't really scary because I'm not scared of dolls, but there's a couple scenes in there that were definitely jump scares 😆
I haven't read any by him yet but I've heard good things! And that makes sense. I don't think I'm scared of dolls but I can be a horror weenie sometimes so I'm still hesitant haha.
Also one of my discord friends posted 🔗this recently and if I saw this irl I think I would be scared 😂 very off topic but I had to share haha

If you're a horror weenie I think A House at the Bottom of a Lake could be a good place to start with his work. But it's a atmospheric, symbolic kind of horror where not much happens (and it has an open ending), so I don't usually recommend it because I know most people probably won't really like it even though I gave it five stars 😂🙈
I love it hahaha 😆 It's like the dolls own the place, if you buy it you will be moving into their house, not yours 😂
I wouldn't say I'm a total weenie LOL but possibly... you're not really selling me though 😂
