It looks like you’re interested in ancient Egypt, and as someone who grew up obsessed with it (and also has known Kara Cooney since I was a kid), can I recommend 24 Hours in Ancient Egypt by Donald P Ryan? I also highly recommend looking into Dr. Salima Ikram and her work with animal mummies!
24 hours in Ancient Egypt is certainly a read I’m looking forward to, it’s good to hear you liked it. I actually have a Bachelor of Ancient History majoring in Egypt, so I’ve read a fair bit of Dr Ikrams work, I really enjoy her work
Girl if you ever need industry contacts hit me up bc my autism fueled childhood obsession with ancient Egypt led to me being the youngest person ever to present a poster at the national conference of egyptologists (age 9) and I know so many people incredibly well
