Have you read most or all of these? No judgement if you haven’t. Just curious. I’ll know who to come to if I have a thought or question about one of these books.

And my first is, do you have any favourites from this list? (Or are the all your favourites? 😄)

Hey there! I haven’t read them all, haha! The list also functions as a semi-tbr of sorts for the titles I haven’t yet read!

My favourites include:

  • The Luckiest Lady in London, Sherry Thomas
  • Tempting the Bride, Sherry Thomas
  • Bringing Down the Duke, Evie Dunmore
  • The Devil in Winter, Lisa Kleypas
  • Chasing Cassandra, Lisa Kleypas
  • Marrying Mr. Winterborne, Lisa Kleypas
  • Almost Heaven, Judith McNaught
  • Kingdom of Dreams, Judith McNaught

What about you? What are some of your favourite texts from the list (or novels not on the list)?

I love A Kingdom of Dreams but haven’t read Almost Heaven (want to). Love both Evie Dunmore books, particularly, A Rogue of One’s Own. Love Lisa Kleypas. Have read quite a few of her works. Of the ones you’ve listed here, Marrying Winterborne is a favourite. (Haven’t read, Lady Sophia’s Lover though.) I also love Indigo, Brazen and the Beast, The Highwayman and The Duke. Quite a few of these are on my TBR/interested lists. 😄

Have you guys seen the Julia Quinn collection yet? She is curating some awesome printed books of some of her favorite regency /historical romances! 😍

I have never done a subscription box for books because I'm such a picky reader, BUT! Did you see the art in An Extraordinary Union?! Or the sprayed edges on Lord of Scoundrels?! I'm not usually a special edition collector and I've already read those two but so tempting!

It wasn't until they released the list for the 2nd year that it was a cinch for me 😍

I was interested until I figured out what it was going to cost to buy them and then have them shipped to Canada. The postage is astronomical. 😭😭😭

Ughh I knowww they are so $$$ - im in US and even then the shipping was so high! I was conflicted then they added some of my faves, so I decided wth lol I didn't go on vacation this past two years so I'll think of it as an investment in a mental vacation/inheritable library. 🥲And if there are any I don't absolutely love I'll gift them or swap with a friend 🤷‍♀️

The postage to Canada is almost double the US rate. Then you add the poor exchange rate for Canadian $, and I couldn’t come close to justifying the cost. Especially as I’m just coming off a long medical leave from work.

Oh my- yes it really would be so high per book- it was already on the higher end for what I usually would spend on a new fancy book since most of my reads are second hand or library!

Good luck on your return to work after leave 🫶

Great list! Based on how many of my favorites are on here, I’m super excited to check out the authors I hadn’t heard of yet!
