I had to look up the difference between fairies and fae

It’s user interchangeably but I guess when people think of fairies they think of little small pixies like tinkerbell

Whereas fae is like strong , powerful, and human sized

Omg, I don’t think I’ve ever read a book about fairies. 🤯 This list is great!

Thanks! Inspired by my current read 😌

One of the first fairy stories I read was called The Hunters Moon by O.R Melling. It was a YA book, and if I remember correctly one of the characters talks about Legolas from LoTR and calls him "sexless", and that has never sat right with me

Thanks for the rec! And yes, I would not call Legolas sexless 🤨

Teenage me was shocked and appalled!

I love fairies! 🧚‍♀️

I hadn’t read a fairy book since I was a teen! I’ve been getting back into fantasy this year 😊

I think Banshee by Ailbhe Malone would fit here!
