Hello, y'all. This is a subject very near and dear to my heart -- as an American who cannot afford health insurance, as a trans and mentally ill person who desperately needs life-saving medication, and as an American health professional myself -- please do NOT trust the medical industrial complex. It was never created to save you, only to bleed you dry of money and make you sicker. But not all is lost -- understand, educate, organize, and resist! I believe that we WILL achieve free healthcare for all -- world-wide and in the US.

Oh I love this list. Currently full of rage 24/7 about insurance bureaucracy and the detrimental effects of siloing medicine into specialties that don't communicate with each other. I should try reading more about it to see if that gives me a bit of an outlet đź«
I am SO furious. This was heavily inspired by my deep dive search into the Medicare and Medicaid changes that are coming to the US in 2027. Insurance companies are a fucking scam!! And prior authorizations? Irritational and detrimental to accessing necessary care.
