Of course!! I feel like it's a good way to get a sense of what the general public is reading and talking about, not necessarily what's "best" but definitely what's "popular," which is really helpful when striking up first time convos about books with most people
I always find it interesting to see things like vote totals for these types of awards. It’s clear that some of the books that won are very popular, especially since many of the nominees that I voted for got surpassed by votes in their category by10x or more.

Totally! I also do wonder how many people vote that only really read one book in the category, or vote off of name recognition? Again that's why I kind of take it as a measure of popularity rather than quality
